Tasks

 

  • You will be responsible for the installation and configuration of server hardware and the basic installation of server components.
  • You will carry out regular updates.
  • You will monitor and rectify faults in the hardware systems.
  • You will analyse and improve the operating processes of the infrastructure.
  • You implement and manage back-up and recovery solutions.
  • You fully document the processes set up.
  • You support IT projects and the creation of documentation.



Qualifications

 

  • You have experience in server technologies, virtualisation and backup solutions.
  • You are IT-savvy and ideally have completed an IT apprenticeship, e.g. specialised IT, system electronics or similar.
  • You enjoy finding a solution to any errors that occur, whether it's a Windows logon or a printer going on strike, so that day-to-day business can continue.
  • You are familiar with the workings of a firewall and network security mechanisms.
  • You are confident in setting up stable data streams and always aim for the highest possible availability of all systems and networks.
  • In an extreme emergency, you can be called at an unusual time.
  • You can set up/administer and manage hardware (access points, UPS, servers, workstations, notebooks, mobile phones) to meet the corresponding requirements at our locations in order to ensure secure operation.
  • You enjoy analysing faults and have relevant testing experience.
  • You are familiar with bandwidths, IP addresses and networks, as well as different providers, in order to keep our networks and locations optimally connected.
  • You enjoy incorporating your ideas and suggestions into projects and creating great results with a hands-on mentality.
  • You are open, value-driven and have a thoughtful service mindset.
